Yesterday, my friends and I went around the food court in Glorietta looking for dessert. I stopped by Cheesecake Meliza, and saw their wide array of cheesecakes. The chocolate covered bars immediately caught my attention, especially when I read that they were filled with cheesecake. Upon seeing the price, 85 pesos for 5 bars, I just had to give it a try.

The chocolate coating wasn’t too sweet so it didn’t clash or overpower the taste of the cheesecake. The cheesecake itself was actually pretty good! It wasn’t gelatinous, like affordable cheesecakes usually are. You could really taste the cheese in it. Though the chocolate wasn’t bad, I’m a cheesecake purist so I started eating the chocolate coating first so I could taste the cheesecake on its own.

I’m definitely trying their other cheesecakes. I hope they’re as good or even better. It’s no Burgoo cheesecake (review to come soon) but for its price, it’s pretty darn good!
